The Urban Mix

Well to start it off, I LOVE FOOD.

I am fat and I am proud. That is why I want to make this blog. Writing about anything and everything about food.

However I want to throw this out there first. I CAN'T COOK!!! Its kinda ironic but I suck at cooking. That is why I hate watching the food channel. I can't ever make any of those dishes that I see on the channel. I also hate those shows that advertise food outside of the country. I'm pretty poor and I will never ever have the chance to taste those authentic food or those high class delicacy.

So what would I write in this blog?

Urban food.

WHAT?? Why are you writing urban food when everyone can eat it every day and there is nothing special?

Not unless you can get creative with it.

I'll show you how to have some creativity with your everyday urban food that you can get at those big chain fast food restaurant. I will also put up reviews of smaller everyday restaurants since I travel around the GTA area a lot for my job. I eat at a lot of different restaurants. The criteria for those restaurant will be price, taste, service, and speciality.

I am probably rambling a little bit too much so without further adieu, here is the first Urban Mix.

SUICIDE SHAKE
Difficulty: Medium
Taste: Awesome
Instructions:
1. Go to your local Tim Horton to get a iced cappuccino
2. Take that ice cap to a Baskin Robin or a Laura Secord and add 1 or 2 scoop of ice cream of your choice.
3. Eat it.

Description: This is actually one of the first Urban Mix I have made. In the food court where I used to work there was both a Laura Secord and a Tim Horton. One day I wanted to get both an ice cream and a iced cappuccino since it was a very hot day. I got the iced cap first and went to buy the ice cream. Since I already have the iced cap in hand, it would be very awkward to eat both the ice cap and the ice cream at the same time. So in a stroke of genius (if you eat too much of this I'm pretty sure you will get a stroke soon) I opened the lid of the iced cap and told the sales to plop the ice cream onto it. I heard angel's singing as I took a sip of the ice cap.

I highly recommend the triple chocolate flavour as it goes very well with the ice cap. The flavours I don't recommend is bubble gum, mint chocolate or cappuccino. Bubble gum and mint just taste weird with the iced cap, and cappuccino you just don't taste anything different then the iced cap.

Stay tuned for more Urban mix.
